Jewish blasphemy
The halibut I had last night was good enough for Jehovah. There, I’ve said it.
Christian blasphemy
I deny the existence of the holy spirit. (Though if I did believe in the thing, I would be forced to consider it a motherf*ker. At least that’s my understanding of the Trinity.)
According to the Gospels, denying the Holy Spirit in an unforgivable sin. So for my Christians friends who have been praying for me or still harbor hopes of saving me, that’s all gone. Nothing can save me now.
Apparently there is something called the Blasphemy Challenge. I’ll have to participate in that.
Islamic blasphemy
Of the big three, this is the religion I know the lest about. But apparently publishing a visual depiction of Mohammed is the blasphemy du jour.
But until I figure out how get images, Tumblr, and MarsEdit working together, I’ll just have to post a link.
